About the event
Join me for this creative wellbeing workshop at Langdon Nature Discovery Centre.
This relaxed creative session is aimed at neurodivergent adults (including those who are Self-Identifying). Built around a small set of core activities, you'll draw on the natural materials we have here at Langdon, combining modern and recycled techniques, without the need for prior experience.
This session will draw on arts wellbeing and group ADHD coaching approaches.
You'll begin with a short outdoor warm-up (weather permitting and if you feel comfortable enough), then go into the main activity, with time in between for reflection, refreshments, and regrouping.
This workshop will be gelli plate printing which is a type of monoprinting usually using acrylic inks on a gel plate. Every print is unique.
Notes for the session:
Choice throughout: materials, sitting or standing, joining in or watching, talking or not.
Movement welcome, including stepping outside at any time.
Bring what you need, including ear defenders or fidgets.
Wear old clothes, gel plate printing uses acrylic paint.
£25 per person, including a free hot drink.
